RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) – Lately we have been warned about sticky brakes and sudden acceleration on some Toyotas. Recalls are grabbing attention…and rightly so.
But there is a deadly problem on our highways that affects everyone, no matter what they drive.
AT&T is launching a nationwide campaign this week to raise awareness about the danger of texting while driving. Their TV ads are chilling.
AT&T's TV campaign includes final text messages sent just before deadly crashes. Together they make a powerful point. There's no text so important that it's worth dying for.
In Virginia text messaging and emailing while driving is against the law. But beyond that we as parents need to set the example for our kids. Tell them the text can wait.
