Delay in case of man accused of setting boss on fire

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - A delay today in the case of a Petersburg man accused of setting his boss on fire.

51 year old Henry Morton is charged with aggravated malicious wounding.

Police say Morton hid and waited for his boss to arrive at a Petersburg apartment complex last November.

When the woman showed up, police say Morton hit her then set her on fire.

The victim fired Morton from his maintenance job days before the alleged attack.

Morton's next court date is scheduled for May.
