Fishermen still missing after boat capsizes

Posted by Shawn Maclauchlan

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Two fishermen in James City County are still missing after their boat capsized in the York River Thursday morning.

The coast guard and police department were out all day looking for them. The search was suspended Thursday night.

The water was rough because of the high winds.

Witnesses say the 78 and 63 year old men were not wearing life jackets when the boat tipped. The water was about 12 feet deep where the boat was found.

There's no word if or when the search will resume.
