Robinson faces up to 24 years in prison

HENRICO, VA (WWBT) - A former Richmond sheriff's deputy faces up to 24 years in prison on felony dogfighting charges.

David Robinson entered an Alford Plea Thursday afternoon in Henrico court.

It means he doesn't plead guilty, but he admits there is enough evidence to convict him.

The dogs were seized from his property in April of 2009.

Sentencing takes place in May.
