RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - New details on the controversy involving two Ginter Park homes slated for demolition.

The Robins Foundation owns the two Chamberlayne Avenue homes and a third adjoining lot.

Since our story first aired last Friday, signs, calling for residents to take action, have appeared near the properties. The foundation has been inundated with calls and emails from the residents trying to save the homes.

The executive director says he is open to offers. The asking price is $425,000.

Meantime, a member of the Alliance To Conserve Old Richmond Neighborhoods or ACORN says the non-profit group is being allowed to refer serious offers to the listing agents.

So far, a demolition permit has not been granted by the city.
