PETERSBURG, VA (WWBT)- There are now two separate trials for 19-year-old Glenn Fuselier, one trial in the Juvenile Court and another in the General District Court.

In 2006, Fuselier mistakenly poured gasoline on a camp fire and suffered severe burns. Today, he is dealing with another ordeal, 6 counts of felonies and misdemeanors including child endangerment, attempted capital murder, and reckless driving.

On Wednesday, Fuselier lead police on a high speed chase on I-95, with speeds of up to 100 miles per hour, all while carrying 3 children inside.

Fuselier's long time neighbor, Annie Polk, said she's been praying for Fuselier ever since.

"I couldn't do anything but cry, I cried," said Polk.

Polk said Fuselier is like a son to her and is devastated. She says she's glad to know the three children weren't hurt in the accident.

"When I heard it I was just, oh God, it's really heart breaking," said Polk.

Police say Fuselier attempted to run troopers off the road then ran his van into a state police car. The impact police say is what caused Fuselier to lose control of the van and flip over off onto Crater Road.

"My heart goes out to them and for the little boy," said Polk, "I am truly heartbroken," she said.

Fuselier is being held at the Riverside Regional Jail without bond. Both trials will start in March.
