Gun show loophole bill goes to Senate

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Testimony will be heard Wednesday on a Senate gun show loophole bill at the General Assembly building.

The bill is similar to the one that died in a House committee last month.

This version also calls for gun show vendors to secure criminal background checks on buyers.

Right now, only licensed gun dealers are required to do that by state law.
