CAPE CANAVERAL, FL (WWBT)--The space shuttle Endeavour made a textbook launch Monday.

It blasted off from Kennedy Space Center in Florida this morning. The crew kicked off their 13-day mission at 4:14 a.m.

The agenda for this mission includes a stop at the international space station.

Engineers had been worried they may have to postpone the launch because of a low cloud ceiling.
