RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Union First Market Bankshares Corp. said Tuesday its acquisition of First Market Bank has been completed.
Union said that First Market will be merged in March with another subsidiary, Union Bank and Trust, to form Union First Market Bank.
The bank holding company also says it will move its headquarters from Bowling Green to Richmond in April.
With the merger, Union will have more than 90 branches across Virginia. Union's other bank subsidiaries are Northern Neck State Bank and Rappahannock National Bank.
