RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - With another year of NASCAR fast approaching, many experts have been looking to Chesterfield's Denny Hamlin as the favorite to end Jimmie Johnson's run of four straight Sprint Cup championships.
But Hamlin's already hit a bump in the road, as he tore the ACL in his left knee playing basketball on Friday.
The driver says he'll wait until after the season to have surgery, meaning he's going to be dealing with the injury throughout the 2010 campaign.
The season-opening Daytona 500 is less than a month away.
