Posted by Iva Radman – email

GOOCHLAND, VA (WWBT)--One local high school is hoping to raise a lot of money for the victims of Haiti. Goochland High School's boys' basketball team will host Powhatan this Monday night for a special "Pack the Gym Night for Haiti" fundraiser.

The junior varsity teams meet at 6 p.m. followed by the main varsity matchup at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are only five dollars.

All proceeds will go to the Red Cross for supplies for the rescue effort in earthquake-torn Haiti.

Goochland high school will also participate in other activities to raise money during the school day.
