PETERSBURG, VA (WWBT)--Petersburg Public Schools is facing a potential budget shortfall of nearly $8 million for the upcoming school year.
School board members held a budget work session last night to address the matter. A joint meeting with the board and city council will be held on Tuesday, January 26th to discuss how to possibly fill that budget gap.
The meeting starts at 6 p.m. at the School Administration Building on South Boulevard East. The public is invited.
