RICHMOND, VA (WWBT)-- If you live in Richmond, you'll soon find out how much your home is worth--at least, as far as the city is concerned. Real estate assessments are in the mail.
Second district council member Charles Samuels says most property values are holding steady, but some areas like Richmond's fan district have seen about a four percent decline.
How much you will have to pay in taxes has not been determined. City leaders have until April 15th, to set the real estate tax rate for the year
