RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) – It should not come a surprise that central Virginians of all stripes are stepping up in many different ways to help the people in Haiti. Among them is Allan Harvie, the former owner of the Richmond Renegades Hockey Team. Mr. Harvie is working with a group of local doctors to head to Haiti to help in the relief effort.

Allan joins me with one of the doctors planning to be a part of the effort, Dr. Gray Snowden of Capitol Pediatrics in Midlothian. See the video at right for the full interview.

Q: Allan, let's start with you. What made you decide to get put together this effort?

Q: Dr. Snowden - what kind of work do you think you will be doing if you get there?

Q: Every time I see the pictures of the devastation, all I can think is that the relief effort must be overwhelming. Are you prepared for that reality if you get down there?
