Mourners honor couple found dead in apartment parking lot

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - At least 100 people attended a vigil Saturday afternoon in south Richmond for a Henrico mother and her boyfriend.

Richmond police recovered the bodies of Angela Moore and Tracy Scott on Tuesday at the Kingly Ones apartments.

The couple had been missing for more than two weeks.

Moore's daughter, Keyarna Lee, hopes this will bring the two families together and says she was touched by all the people who came to the event.

"I would like to see forgiveness and to know that this person will be caught," she said. "But even if this person doesn't get caught through the system, I know that God has the last word and he will hear our hearts and will bring mercy to the one who did this. And I really do pray for that."

The group Citizens Against Crime organized the event.

Richmond police officers also attended the vigil.
