CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - The price for owning more than two dogs could soon drop in Chesterfield.
The board of supervisors is considering lowering the cost of a private kennel permit. A public hearing on the issue is set for Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
Residents can weigh in on whether to lower the $1000 fee down to $100.
Private kennel permits are required for anyone wanting to own more than two dogs. The meeting is at the public meeting room inside the county's government complex.
