Thieves target fuel station in Richmond, Henrico

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Police in Richmond and Henrico are seeking suspects in two separate crimes.

In Richmond, thieves targeted the BP station in the 1600 block of West Broad Street.

Around 11:20 Saturday morning police say the cashier returned from the restroom to find one man guarding the door and another behind the counter at the till.

The robbers forced the employee to open the register at gunpoint.

The two then fled on foot.

In the East End, Henrico police are looking for the man who broke into a convenience store early Saturday morning.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. at the Fas-Mart on Williamsburg Road, near the airport.

Police say the burglar used a rock to smash open the front glass door.

Once inside, he stole cigarettes, lighters, and other small items.

He ran away before police arrived.

Henrico police are also asking someone to come forward with information in an indecent exposure case.

A woman at the Tan-A Supermarket on West Broad Street, claims a man twice exposed his genitals to her on Thursday night.

The man ducked down once the woman started screaming.

He ran away without being seen again.

If you have any information on any of these crimes you're asked to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
