HENRICO, VA (WWBT) – A Henrico teenager is in a desperate search for her mother.

The missing woman's boyfriend, who police say has a history of violence against her, is also gone. 40-year old Angela Moore hasn't been heard from since early last Sunday morning.

Her family, friends and police are concerned about her well being. Investigators want to talk to Moore's boyfriend, a person of interest, who just last month was charged in a violent attack at Moore's home.

17 year old Keyarna Lee admits at first, she was angry at her mother, Angela Moore, for not calling to check on her and her younger brother. But that quickly changed to fear.

"Basically we just knew something was suspicious and wrong," said Keyarna Lee.

Family friend, Pastor John Smith, got a frantic call from Keyarna on Sunday.

"She told me her mother hadn't come home, and I couldn't go back to sleep. It frightened me cause that's way out of character," said Pastor Smith.

Keyarna said her mother was with 42 year old Tracy O'Neal Scott. Keyarna said the two went to the Satellite Club on Jeff Davis Highway and then to an after hours party at Cub Illuzion on Broad Rock Boulevard. At about 3:45 A.M. Sunday morning, Keyarna said a family friend received a text from Moore.

"My mother texted saying Tracy was about to get into a fight with another woman," said Keyarna.

Keyarna said cell records show that was the last time Moore's phone was used. The day before Thanksgiving, Scott was charged with breaking into Moore's house and assaulting Moore and Keyarna.

"He ran through the door, and basically he beat my mother up, and we tried to get him off of her, and he hit me, and threatened my life," said Keyarna.

Moore filed a temporary restraining order against Scott. It expired November 30. Police said Scott is a person of interest in Moore's disappearance. Henrico police asked Richmond officers to stop by Scott's apartment on Chamberlayne Avenue, but there was no sign of him.

"He is the key to this whole situation," said Pastor Smith.

Keyarna says she's praying for her mom's safe return.

"I'm very close with my mother, highly close. She's just been keeping secrets about this man, not knowing she's messing with my life too and my brother," said Keyarna.

Police say Scott was last seen in a burgundy Chrysler Sebring. Investigators are looking at Moore's cell records and trying to establish a timeline.

Anyone with information about Scott and Moore's whereabouts should call Henrico police or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
