WASHINGTON (AP) - DETROIT (AP) - Officials say they've taken a passenger onboard the same Detroit-bound Northwest Airlines flight that was attacked Christmas Day into custody after he became verbally disruptive when the plane landed.
A law enforcement official says the man was Nigerian and had locked himself in the plane's bathroom.
An airport spokesman says the pilot requested emergency assistance when the flight arrived.
A spokeswoman for Delta, which operates the flight, says crew members requested the man be removed from Flight 253 and the remaining 255 passengers got off safely.
The Obama administration has promised a review of security procedures after a passenger attempted to blow up Flight 253 Christmas Day.
