Wheelchair-bound man hurt during home invasion

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Police are investigating a late night home invasion and robbery that sent a wheel-chair bound man to the hospital.

This happened at a home in the 100 block of East Jackson Street in Richmond Tuesday night.

Richmond police told us the victim, who's in his 30's, was struck in the head with the butt of a pistol.

His injuries are non-life threatening and he tells police his attackers got away with about $40.

Police are still looking for the two masked men involved in this home invasion.
