Robbery leads to police pursuit, ends in fatal crash

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Two people are dead after a police chase that started in Richmond and ended in Henrico County.

It all began around 11:00 Saturday night in Richmond at the Fas Mart in the 2600 block of East Main Street.

Two suspects robbed the convenience store prompting a police chase into Henrico.

The suspects crashed into a telephone pole in the 1600 block of New Market Road and were killed.

Their identities are not being released at this time and the investigation continues.
