Woman accused of stalking Mayor Jones

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) – The woman accused of stalking Richmond mayor Dwight Jones won't be allowed near him for at least a year.

Prosecutors say Robin Harris has been tracking the mayor since January -- and now there's a protective order against her.

She can't come around the mayor until her next hearing, in November 2010.  If she does -- she could face jail time.

The commonwealth's attorney spokesperson would not give details about what Harris did to warrant the charge.

Harris had nothing to say as she left the courtroom.  If she violates the protective order she could face jail time. She'll go before a judge in one year.

Prosecutors also recommend she seek counseling from the Richmond Behavioral and Health Authority, but that has yet to be arranged.
