Watch for dangerous roadways and storm damage

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) -  Wet roadways require motorists to change their driving habits and when that doesn't happen, crashes occur.

Rain was likely a factor in a crash on Interstate 95 in Chesterfield last night during rush hour.

Two tractor trailers and a pickup truck  were involved in the accident near the Walthall exit.

State police charged one of the truckers, 50-year-old Jimmy Womack Jr., with reckless driving. At one point, traffic was backed up for five miles.

The driver of the pickup was the only person hurt. He was taken to Southside Regional Hospital.

State police say while they can't be sure that weather was a factor in this crash at this point, it's a good idea to take precautions on the roads.
