RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - The defending national champion University of Richmond football team, continue to tear through the competition in 2009, going into this weekend's homecoming game against Villanova.

This weekend, the Spiders became only the third FCS team in NCAA history to earn a vote in the AP Top 25 College Football Poll.

Coach Mike London joined NBC12 to talk about their success, is the man at the helm of the Spiders ship.

Q: First tell us the significance of your school earning a vote in the AP poll, ahead of more than 100 other schools that are supposedly playing at higher level than you are?

Q: Winning a national championship is one thing. Defending is another. Last year you guys were a surprise, now everyone is gunning for you. How much harder does that make it to come out and win every week?

Q: Are you satisfied with the level of support you are getting from the community?
