Senior alert issued for missing Williamsburg man

WILLIAMSBURG, VA (NBC12) - State Police has issued a senior alert on behalf of the York County Sheriff's Office.

Police are looking for 81-year-old Charles Irving Seymour of Williamsburg.

Seymour was last seen at his home on Shady Bluff Point Thursday morning. Police say Seymour is a bald man, 5'8'', 146 lbs with brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing light colored blue jeans, a tan Columbia jacket and white Velcro sneakers.

Seymour is operating a silver Pontiac Grand AM with license plate JRN-3506.

He has short term memory loss and a heart condition that requires medication.

He is believed to be heading to Florida.

If you see Seymour you are asked to call York County Sheriff's Office at 757-890-3621.

    Police are investigating the death of a man in Henrico Friday night.  It happened before 10 p.m. at the Exxon gas station on Mechanicsville Turnpike near Crump Street.  Further details on the victim and how he died are still unknown.  Police have not said if there is a suspect in the case and are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000.
