RICHMOND, VA (NBC12) - Police are investigating the cause of a fatal car accident on the city's southside.
Around 11:20 Saturday night, police say a man lost control of his car and hit a business sign pole in the 5500 block of Warwick Rd.
Police say the driver of that vehicle, 20-year-old Jeronimo Angel Mendez, died at the scene.
One female passenger was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
