Catalytic converters stolen from Chester car dealerships

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - Thirty-four catalytic converters were stolen from two Chester auto dealerships.

It happened at Colonial Honda and Priority Toyota on Walthall Center Drive between 9 p.m. on October 17 and 9 a.m. on October 19.  Police said the converters were cut from new Honda Pilots, Elements and Ridgelines, Toyota Tundras and RAV4s.

The estimated damages exceed $80,000.

The same two dealerships were also targeted on September 13, 2008 in which 28 converters were stolen.
