Two teens arrested for commercial burglaries

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - Chesterfield Police arrested two teenagers in connection with a series of commercial burglaries that occurred along the Hull Street Road corridor on Sept. 20, and Oct. 17.

Police say eight businesses were entered by breaking the windows. The suspects are believed to have also attempted to enter two other businesses by the same method. Alcohol, currency and cash registers were allegedly taken during the thefts.

Police also charged the teens in a series of burglaries that occurred this summer to pool concession stands in the northern portion of the county. In these cases, windows or doors were pried to gain entry, and the interiors were rummaged through.

The teens' names are being withheld due to their ages.
