McDonnell maintains lead over Deeds in new poll - NBC12 - WWBT - Richmond, VA News On Your Side

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

Just two weeks until election day and Bob McDonnell continues to hold a comfortable lead in the governor's race.

A new poll by Clarus Research Group shows the Republican with an 8-point advantage over Democrat Creigh Deeds.

49 percent say they back McDonnell.

41 percent say they'll back Deeds.

10 percent were undecided.

Deeds and McDonnell meet for their final debate tonight at Roanoke College.
