RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Next year's budget for Chesterfield County public schools is already not looking so good.

Frank Cardella, the president of the Chesterfield Education Association, joined NBC12 to talk about the budget trouble. He leads an organization that represents the interest of teachers in the district.

Q: Is it possible for the chesterfield school district to cut $25 million without cutting teacher jobs?

Q: 2011 seem like a long time from now. Couldn't a number things change between now and then that could change the budget picture?

Q: The superintendent said in a letter to your members today that he will do everything he can to preserve jobs. Is your organization willing to do whatever it takes to help make that happen, even if it means foregoing raises or resources?
