RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - On newsstands in Richmond today is Style Weekly's latest issue and this week they unveiled their 40 Under 40 honors.
It highlights 40 emerging local leaders all under the age of 40.
And there were any number of winners that we could've highlighted, but we were joined this afternoon by Tony Pham. Tony is assistant city attorney for the City of Richmond and was born in Vietnam, shortly before the start of the Vietnam War. His family fled Vietnam and ended up in Henrico and now more an three decades later Tony has established himself as one of the top young leaders in the Richmond area.
Q: When you moved to his country you couldn't speak english. Now you have argued cases in a courtroom as a prosecutor. What do you owe your success to?
Q: You have done quite a bit of work with other members of the asian community who are facing some of the same challenges you did when you came to this country. Why is that important to you?
