RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Two area counties are having meetings tonight to talk about budget shortfalls for 2011.
Chesterfield is facing a $38 million shortfall and the school board wants to hear from you about school budget priorities.
That meeting is at 7 p.m. Tonight at the district headquarters on Iron Bridge Road.
This pre-budget public hearing is a chance to hear which programs and positions are top priority to the community.
Hanover is having a similar meeting tonight to talk school money.
The school board will hold a pre-budget public hearing at 7:30 pm. That takes place at the school board office, 200 Berkley Street in Ashland.
