Name of driver charged in deadly GRTC accident released

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - The name of the woman who was at the wheel of a GRTC bus that hit and killed a pedestrian in downtown Richmond has been released.

Richmond police say Teresa Jones, 46, was arrested and charged with reckless driving in connection to the crash at the intersection of 14th and Franklin streets last Wednesday.

Police say she has been released until she can appear in court, but there's no word yet on when that might happen.
