U.S. Marshall's arrest 3rd bank robbery suspect

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - The Richmond Police Department has released an image of a captured suspect from Monday's pursuit of the persons responsible for the M&T bank robbery.

Minutes after the robbery a Department vehicle, pursuing the three bank robbery suspects, captured an image with its dashboard video camera. It shows the moment when one of the suspects, Joseph Roach, exits a getaway vehicle on Appomattox Street in Richmond.  Police say a weapon is clearly visible in Roach's hand as he attempts to dash from the oncoming Department pursuit.

Richmond Police officers quickly captured two of the men, Roach and Cordarrell Johnson. A third suspect, Kenneth Reed, was captured yesterday by the U.S. Marshall's Fugitive Task Force. Reed's photo is attached.

The Task Force is comprised of members from the U.S. Marshall's Service, Virginia State Police, Richmond Police Department, Chesterfield Police Department, Virginia Department of Corrections and the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Police say the three men face several charges related to the Sept. 28 armed robbery of the M&T Bank at 3124 W. Broad St.
