Richmond police investigate early morning homicide

RICHMOND, VA (NBC12) - Richmond Police officers were called to the 2700 block of Courtland Street at 12:57 a.m. Sunday for a report of shots fired.

When officers arrived they found a male with a gunshot wound next to parked vehicles.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Richmond Police is in the early stages of this homicide investigation and does not have any victim or suspect information to release at this time.
