HENRICO, VA (WWBT) - There are now more charges against the 16-year-old who was arrested at Virginia Randolph Community High School Wednesday afternoon.
He has been charged with: three counts of attempted malicious wounding, three counts of use of a firearm is the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by person under the age of 18, possession of a firearm on school property and brandishing a firearm.
Prosecutors filed motion to try him as an adult and judge will hear it on October 15.
Yesterday, the 270 student campus was locked down after the student allegedly fired shots at another teen. No one was hurt.
About 100 Henrico Police officers descended on the school in a matter of minutes when the "shots fired" call came in.
