Date moved for Morva's brother in jail escape trial

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, VA (WWBT) - A change of venue for the trial of a Chesterfield man accused of helping his brother plan a deadly jail escape.

A Montgomery County judge approved a defense request to move the trial for Michael Morva.

Morva is accused of helping his brother William escape in August of 2006.

It ultimately led to two murders and a manhunt that shut down Virginia Tech.

William Morva is now on death row.

A date and place for Michael Morva's trial has not been set.
