RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - More than customers were found visiting one restaurant in tonight's Restaurant Report. A state health inspector says a live bird was found inside. But that problem and others have been corrected. Take a look in the video at right.

In Richmond, China Evergreen at 612 West Grace Street received 4 critical violations on its last state health inspection. The inspector noted that a live bird and flies were inside the establishment. All four violations were corrected during the inspection. A follow up report is not yet available.

Also in Richmond, West Lake Chinese Restaurant at 11256 Patterson Avenue had 4 critical violations. The report says no date labels were on egg rolls cooked the previous week. Two of the violations were corrected during the inspection, a follow up has not yet been completed.

Moving to Henrico, McDonald's at 1778 Parham Road had 4 critical violations, including an employee eating in the food prep area. Violations were corrected during the inspection. A follow up report not yet available, but the restaurant had a perfect score on its previous inspection.

In Mechanicsville, Awful Arthur's Seafood Company at 6078 Mechanicsville Turnpike got 4 critical violations. The report says employees were observed handling ready to eat food with their bare hands. Three violations were corrected during the inspection. A follow-up has not yet been completed, but Awful Arthur's had perfect scores on two previous inspections.

And this week's NBC12 Hall of Fame Award goes to Little Caesar's at 11101 Ironbridge Road in Chester. This Little Caesar's has been a Roman leader in keeping a clean restaurant. They've earned perfect scores on their last three health inspections.
