RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Fans here in Richmond took to the airwaves today expressing their thoughts on Michael Jackson after his cause of death is finally released. While initial reports of the singer's passing shocked them, today's developments not so much.

"He had a problem and it's very tragic that he didn't get helped with it," said one MJ fan.

Melissa Chase is a DJ at Q 94, and like most Richmond fans, has kept up to date with all the latest developments in the pop star's death. For her today's news was just another small detail in this tragic story.

"I can't say we are too surprised about the latest developments for Michael Jackson's case," said Chase. "Knowing that it's a homicide now I think that when the warrants started coming out about Dr. Murray there wasn't too much of a surprise there."

"I think people care but it's just everywhere. People are over it," said another frustrated fan.

"A lot of people are talking like Michael had it coming," said DJ King Tut of 92.1 FM in Richmond. "As if, you know what if it hadn't have been this doctor, this drug, this time it was going to happen sooner or later because he had a problem."

Once sympathetic fans have found themselves feeling less sorry for Jackson as they learn more secrets about his lifestyle. Most would just like to see him buried so he can rest in peace.
