Watermelon festival returns to Carytown

RICHMOND, VA (NBC12) - Your big chance to fill up on watermelon is Sunday.

The popular Carytown Watermelon Festival attracted more than 100,000 people last year -- and is hoping to have similar success today.

You can park along Cary Street, side streets or at the two free parking decks.

One at Crenshaw and Dooley.

And one at Sheppard and Colonial.

The event runs from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

You can expect several vendors along Carytown Streets.
