RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Some wild weather blew through our area last night, And one of the areas hit hardest was the Church Hill neighborhood of Richmond.

And in Short Pump, last night's storm left the intersection of Woodman and Hungary roads was completely dark.

The traffic signals were out -- and the gas stations were dark.

Similar power outages were reported all across town, and Dominion still dealing with some of that this morning.

The National Weather Service has announced that no storm survey is planned.  Viewers have reported funnel cloud damage, but it was probably very strong straight-line winds and not a tornado.

Although some minor car accidents were reported around town -- most of the drivers we saw were taking it slow and watching out for each other.

Back out here live some of you may be waking up to residuals a little less dramatic than this, but there's likely debris and tree branches scattered, so just be aware.
