DANVILLE, VA (WWBT) -The Food and Drug Administration says a sample of raw cookie dough collected at a Nestle USA manufacturing plant last week has tested positive for E.coli.
Nestle voluntarily recalled all toll house refrigerated cookie dough products made at the Danville, Virginia plant.
Right now, 69 people in 29 states have been sickened. So far, 34 of them have been hospitalized after eating the contaiminated product.
According to Nestle, the recall covers all varieties of its toll house refrigerated cookie dough.
Some brownie doughs are also affected.
