PETERSBURG, VA (WWBT) -- Eight men facing charges in the alleged hazing of a Virginia State University student are scheduled to appear in court today.
Several of the suspects are VSU students and members of the Phi Beta Sigma fraternity.
The alleged incident happened off-campus back in February.
School officials say the victim suffered "extreme bruising."
Six of the men are slated to go on trial today -- the other two have hearings scheduled.
