RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - It could be another week before a portion of Main Street between 7th and 8th re-opens in downtown Richmond.
A city spokesperson says it took longer than expected for special materials to arrive to fix a 150 year old sewer.
The broken sewer caused two deep holes in the road about two weeks ago.
The right two lanes of Main Street are closed. The city expects to patch the holes by next Friday.
