RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - There are new details about what led up to a police-involved shooting during a traffic stop on Broad Street in April.
Officers testified in court this morning that Nathan Randolph, 55, ran two red lights before pulling over and charging at them with a butcher knife. Police shot Randolph four times.
He appeared in court Monday in a wheel chair. His attempted capital murder charge was certified to a grand jury.
Randolph is also accused of killing his fiance, Alnita Randolph-Coleman.
