Henrico police need help IDing suspect passing counterfeit check

HENRICO, VA (WWBT) - The Henrico Police need help in identifying a suspect passing a counterfeit check.

On April 13, 2009 a black male between 20 and 30 years of age entered the CVS on Broad at Homeview and used a counterfeit American Express check to make a purchase.  Security video captured the suspect at the front counter. He signed the name "Mark Smith."

A contact with AMEX security was able to narrow down the purchase of the real check to a travel center in Cherry Hill, NJ on April 9, 2009. The name given in NJ was "Ed Terrell" with an address in Philadelphia, PA.
