RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - From Richmond to Hopewell, 19 critical violations in tonight's Restaurant Report.

We begin in Chesterfield with China Panda II (10020 Robious Road) with 6 critical violations. No hand washing was determined to be taking place by any employee at the time of inspection. A follow-up inspection shows that violation & others have been corrected.

Moving on to Richmond & Vinny's Italian Grill (7029 Forest Hill Avenue) with 4 critical. An inspector found raw eggs & raw chicken stored above/adjacent to ready-to-eat foods. The violation was corrected during the inspection.

And finally, Subway (906 Crossing Boulevard) in Hopewell with 5 critical. Food employees were observed working with soiled hands & arms, & did not wash potentially contaminated hands. The violation was corrected at the time of inspection. Subway also released the following statement:

"Since the initial Health Department inspection, the store was visited and inspected by our local Development Office...The employees at this store are extremely proud of the work they do to maintain and exceed the standards set by the Health Department as well as those set by Subway."
-Roy Brunett, Promotions & Communications Manager
