Eggleston not the first hotel to show recent signs of wear

From NBC12 News

RICHMOND, VA (NBC12) - You may recall that it was late December, when another vacant hotel started crumbling.

Four limestone panels fell off the hotel John Marshall, with a small chunk landing on 5th Street.

A city report later found that dozens more panels were in danger of coming loose.

Engineers have since, tried to shore up the facade on the 80-year-old building.

It's too early to know if inspectors will begin to look at other aging buildings, but it's a story we'll be following in the coming days.
