Vandals tag bon air neighborhood

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - Police are investigating a series of vehicle vandalism cases that occurred in the Settler's Landing subdivision and at a day care school in the Arboretum between 8 p.m. on April 8 and Thursday morning.

Twelve victims discovered their vehicles had been spray painted with graffiti and one victim's home was spray painted in Settler's Landing. The tags include commentary, racist symbols, and a few other words. No one heard it happen.

Police responded to a day care school in the 100 block of Arboretum Place at 9:40 a.m. Thursday and discovered a day care school bus and a Chesterfield County School bus had also been spray painted. The total estimated damages exceed $16,000.
