Richmond discusses panhandling vote

From NBC12 News

Richmond, VA (NBC12)-Richmond City Council discusses the issue of panhandling.

Some council members want to outlaw panhandling and fundraising at traffic lights and intersections because of safety concerns.

Opponents of the plan say the proposal unfairly targets homeless people.

A meeting to discuss the issue will take place at 11a.m. at the homeward, located at 1125 commerce road.
